Hello! My name is Kristen Theard and I am a kindergarten teacher at **** Elementary School. I graduated in December 2017 from Southeastern Louisiana University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education with Louisiana certifications in Pre-kindergarten through Fifth grade. I taught first grade at ALES during my student teaching semester and then moved to kindergarten for two semesters in 2018. I always knew that I wanted to be a teacher when I grew up because I wanted to work with children and help them to succeed and now my dream has finally come true! I love everything about being an educator and I strive to do my best and ensure that all of my students get everything that they need to succed while also creating a fun and encouraging environment.This will be my first full year as a teacher and I am so excited to see how much your child will learn and grow throughout the year!
Personal Tidbits: I am from Ponchatoula, Louisiana, I am married and I have two dogs, Kohl and Gizmo. My hobbies include reading, watching movies and trying new things! My favorite subject to teach is reading.
